Belva J. was born on October 24th, 1915. Belva J.'s father was Christopher Layton Galbraith and her mother was Mary Heva JOHNSON. Her paternal grandparents were William Wilkie Galbraith and Elizabeth LAYTON. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Christopher LAYTON, ELMER J., Esma J., William J., Irel J., Mary J., Itha J., Heva J., Erma J. and ILA J.. She was the second youngest of the eleven children.-
