Mary Matthews 
Mary was born on April 23rd, 1820 in Thorncote, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND. Mary's father was William Matthews and her mother was Elizabeth ROWNEY. She was an only child. She died at the age of 25 in September 1845 in Big Mound, Illinois. She was buried in Nauvoo, Illinois.
‌Mary and Christopher were married in a religious ceremony on June 20th, 1842 in Northill, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND. They had a son and a daughter, named William Matthews and Elizabeth.
