Ellen Phylria was born on September 17th, 1851 in Illinois. Ellen Phylria's father was Luke Nichols and her mother was Mariah Ellen Goodale. Her paternal grandparents were Solomon Nichols and Ruth Goodale; her maternal grandparents were David Goodale and Elizabeth Brackett Welch. She had five sisters named Delia Marie, Adeline, Amelia, Harriet and Deanne. She was the youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 63 on October 14th, 1914.General Notes
