Isaac was born on March 29th, 1670 in Salem, Essex, Massachusetts. Isaac's father was Isaac Goodell and his mother was Patience Cook. His paternal grandparents were Robert Goodell and Catherine Kilham; his maternal grandparents were John Cook and Mary Roote. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Zechariah, Abraham, Infant, John, Abigail and Hester. He died at the age of 69 in 1739 in Salem, Massachusetts.General Notes
Isaac (Jr.) Goodale5 was born March 29, 1670. He was a yeoman and a carpenter and he served in a military expedition against Canada in 1690. He married Mary Abbe on December 21, 1692. (Mary Abbe was the daughter of Samuel and Mary (Knowlton) Abbe, born 1674. Samuel (1648-1690) was the son of John and Mary Abbe. Mary Knowlton was the daughter of William and Ann Elizabeth Knowlton).
