Mary Roote 
Mary was born about 1620 in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. Mary's father was Ralph Roote and her mother was Mary Jones. She had a half-sister named Sarah. She died in 1646 in Salem, Essex, Massachusetts.General Notes
Arrived on 'The Abigail' at age 15 with her father, sailing on 30 June 1635. Arrived in Boston, Massachusetts in mid-July.
‌Mary and John were married in a religious ceremony on December 1st, 1637 in Salem, Essex, Massachusetts. They had a son and four daughters, named John, Patience, Sarah, Mary Freelove and Elizabeth.
