Mariah Ellen Goodale 
Mariah Ellen was born on September 30th, 1814 in Jackson, New York. Mariah Ellen's father was David Goodale and her mother was Elizabeth Brackett Welch. Her paternal grandparents were Josiah Goodale and Persis Babcock; her maternal grandparents were John Welch and Hannah Davis. She had five brothers and a sister, named Josiah, Isaac Lockwood, John Wells, Lockwood Welch, George Washington and Elizabeth Mary. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 65 on August 24th, 1880.General Notes
