Martha Cherry 
Martha was born about 1743. Martha's father was John Cherry and her mother was Mary Jordan. Her paternal grandparents were Lemuel "Samuel" Cherry and Mary Courtney; her maternal grandfather was Jesse Jordan. She had four brothers and a sister, named Jesse, Daniel, John, Jesse and Elizabeth. She was the third oldest of the six children.-
