Lemuel "Samuel" Cherry 
Lemuel "Samuel" was born in 1685 in Norfolk County, Virginia. Lemuel "Samuel"'s father was Samuel Maund Cherry and his mother was Frances Ballentine. His paternal grandparents were John Cherry and Rebecca Maund; his maternal grandparents were George Ballentine and Frances Yates. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Aaron, Dunson, Elizabeth, Patience and Frances. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 69 in September 1754 in Beaufort County, North Carolina.-
