John Cherry 
John was born about 1641 in Norfolk Co., Virginia. John's father was John Cherry and his mother was Elizabeth Faithful. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Cherry and Ellen Powney. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Edward, Solomon, William, Thomas, Joseph, Elizabeth, Sarah, Martha and Faithful. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died in 1699 in Norfolk Co., Virginia.-
