Isabel was born about 1085 in Vermandois, Normandy, France and her baptism took place in 1131.  Isabel's father was Hugh Magnus Capet of France & Burgundy and her mother was Adelheid deVermandois Countess of Vermandois.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry I of France and Grand Dutchess Anna Agnesa Yaroslavna; her maternal grandparents were Count Herbert IV deVermandois and Countess Adele Adela de Vexin.  She was an only child.  She died in 1131 in St. Nicasw, Meulan, D-Sens, France.
