Hugh Magnus was born about 1053 in Of, Vermandois, France.  Hugh Magnus' father was Henry I of France and his mother was Grand Dutchess Anna Agnesa Yaroslavna.  His paternal grandparents were Robert II "The Pious" France and Constance Toulouse; his maternal grandparents were Grand Duke Yaroslav I Of (The Wise) Kiev and Ingrid (Ingegerda) Olafsdotter Princess of Sweden. He had a brother named Hugues "le Grand" de.  He was the younger of the two children. He had two half-brothers named Philip I and Hugh I.  He died on October 18th, 1102 in Tarsus, Cilicie.  He was buried in of France & Burgundy.
