William II was born in 1071 in Sussex, England.  William II's father was William I deWarenne and his mother was Gunereda St. Omer.  His paternal grandparents were Rudolf II deWarenne and Emma; his maternal grandfather was Gerbod of St. Omer. He had a half-brother named William II.  He died at the age of 67 on May 11th, 1138 in Chapter House, Lewes, Sussex, England.  He was buried in 1138 in Lewes, Sussex, England.1

‌William II and Isabel were married in a religious ceremony about 1102 in France.


William II's second family with Elizabeth Capet

‌William II and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony in 1118.  They had five sons and five daughters, named Reginald, William III, William III, Reginald, Ralph, Gundred, Ada, Ada, Adelaide and Gundred.
