Gundred was born about 1117 in Surrey, England.  Gundred's father was 2nd Earl Surrey William II deWarrenne Count and her mother was Elizabeth Capet.  Her paternal grandparents were William I deWarenne and Gunereda St. Omer; her maternal grandparents were Count Hugh I Capet and Adelaide de Vermandois. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Reginald, William III, William III, Reginald, Ralph, Ada, Ada, Adelaide and Gundred. She had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Waleran, Robert II, Robert II, Isabel, Elizabeth (Isabel), Maud\Matilda\Alberade, Maud\Matilda\Alberade and Adeline.  She died after 1166.
