William III was born in 1153 in Bramber, Sussex, England.  William III's father was William II de Braose and his mother was Bertha de Gloucester.  His paternal grandparents were Philip Lord deBraose and Aenor Eva deTotness; his maternal grandparents were Earl Miles Fitzwalter and Sybil de Neufmarche. He had a brother and three sisters, named William, Sybil, Bertha and Susan. He had a half-sister named Bertha.  He died at the age of 58 on August 9th, 1211 in Corbeil, Marne, France.  He was buried on August 10th, 1211 in Abbey of St Victorie, Paris, Seine, France.1 


William III's family with Maudede St. Valery

‌William III and Maudede were married in a religious ceremony in 1169.  They had five sons and two daughters, named William, William IV, William IV, Reginald de, William, Margaret and Margaret.
