Maudede was born in 1155 in Isleworth, Middlesex, England.  Maudede's father was Bernard IV of St. Valery and her mother was Maud.  Her paternal grandfather was Renaud II St. Valery. She had a sister named Laurette.  She was the older of the two children.  She died  due to murdered at the age of 55 in 1210 in Corfe, Windsor, England.  She was buried in 1210 in By starvation, walled up in Corfe Castle ordered by King John.1 


Maudede's family with Lord William III de Braose

‌Maudede and William III were married in a religious ceremony in 1169.  They had five sons and two daughters, named William, William IV, William IV, Reginald de, William, Margaret and Margaret.
