William II was born in 1112 in Abergavenny, Gwent, Wales.  William II's father was Philip Lord deBraose and his mother was Aenor Eva deTotness.  His paternal grandparents were William Guillaume de Briouse and Agnes deSt. Clare; his maternal grandparents were Jukel Judeal de Totnes and Miss de Picquigny. He had a sister named Maud.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died before 1193 in Weobley, Herefordshire, England.  He was buried in Sheriff of Herefordshire.1

‌William II and Bertha were married in a religious ceremony about 1150 in England.2   They had two sons and three daughters, named William, William III, Sybil, Bertha and Susan.
