William Of Gloucester was born about 1120 in Gloucestershire, England.  William Of Gloucester's father was Robert (The King's Son') De Caen and his mother was Maud (Mabel) (Sibyl) Fitzhammon.  His paternal grandparents were King Henry I England and Sibilla Corbet; his maternal grandparents were Robert Fitzhammon Lord of Corboil and Sibyl De Montgomery. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Roger, Hamon, Philip Fitzrobert De, Robert, Mabira de, Mabel, Maud Fitzrobert De and Juliana.  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He had four half-brothers named Roger, Richard, Hamon and Philip Fitzrobert.  He died on November 23rd, 1183.  He was buried in Priory, Keynsham, Somersetshire, England.
