Joan of was born in 1272.  Joan of's father was King Edward I England and her mother was Queen Eleanor de Castile Leon.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry III of England King and Eleanor of Provence; her maternal grandparents were Ferdinand III of Castile King and Joan of Aumale. She had a brother and two sisters, named Edward II, Elizabeth and Margaret of.  She was the oldest of the four children. She had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Edward II, Thomas, Thomas, Edmund, Edmund, Henry III Earl of Lancaster &, Joan of, Margaret of, Elizabeth and Elizabeth.  She died at the age of 35 in 1307.
