Archbishop Walter De Grey

Walter was born in 1202 in Chillingham, Northumberland, England. Walter's father was Baron Henry De Grey and his mother was Isolda Bardolf. His paternal grandparents were John de Grey and Elana de Clare; his maternal grandparents were Hugh Bardolf and Isabel de Condet. He had nine brothers and a sister, named Richard, Richard, John, Hugh, Hugh, William, John, Robert, Henry and Joan. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 53 on May 1st, 1255.
