Isolda was born about 1182 in Thurrock, Essex, England.  Isolda's father was Hugh Bardolf and her mother was Isabel de Condet.  Her paternal grandparents were Hugo Bardolf and Amabilia De Lindsay; her maternal grandparents were Lord Robert de Condet and Alice De Meschines. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Hugh, Robert, Cecilia, Matilda, Juliana, Unknown and Beatrice.  She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.  She died before June 18th, 1246 in Codnor, Derbyshire, England.

‌Isolda and Henry were married in a religious ceremony about 1199 in Thurrock, Essex, England.  They had ten sons and a daughter, named Richard, Richard, John, Walter, Hugh, Hugh, William, John, Robert, Henry and Joan.
