Pittser Miller, Sr. was born on November 20th, 1865 in Russelville, Kentucky.1 Pittser Miller, Sr.'s father was Josiah Washington Skinner and his mother was Martha Ann Moss. His paternal grandparents were Josiah S. Skinner and Leah Garrett. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Joseph Washington, William Lafayette, James Stanford, Mary Lewellen, Martha Lee and Mossie. He was the third youngest of the seven children.
