William Lafayette Skinner 
William Lafayette was born on November 19th, 1858 in Kentucky.1 William Lafayette's father was Josiah Washington Skinner and his mother was Martha Ann Moss. His paternal grandparents were Josiah S. Skinner and Leah Garrett. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Joseph Washington, Pittser Miller, Sr., James Stanford, Mary Lewellen, Martha Lee and Mossie. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 59 on February 1st, 1918. He was buried in Buffington Cemetery, Castleberry, Conecuh County, Alabama.1 1 -
