Josiah S. Skinner 
Josiah S. was born on July 1st, 1771 in Nash County, North Carolina.1 Josiah S.'s father was Emanuel Skinner and his mother was Elizabeth Moore. He had a brother and two sisters, named Jesse, Bathsheba and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the four children.
Josiah S. and Letitia were married in a religious ceremony in 1791.2 They had two sons and eight daughters, named William, Chaurstory, Letitia, Shany, Rebecca, Pamela, Lydia, Martha, Bathsheba and Elizabeth.

Rebecca was born on September 26th, 1797 in Halifox County, Tennessee.1 She died at the age of 56 on January 19th, 1854 in Kentucky.1
William Skinner
William was born on November 17th, 1800 in Tennessee.1 He died at the age of 75 in 1875 in Kentucky.1
They had three sons and a daughter, named Washington Lee, Josiah Washington, James John and Mary Ann.
