Joseph Washington Skinner 
Joseph Washington was born on November 19th, 1858.1 Joseph Washington's father was Josiah Washington Skinner and his mother was Martha Ann Moss. His paternal grandparents were Josiah S. Skinner and Leah Garrett. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William Lafayette, Pittser Miller, Sr., James Stanford, Mary Lewellen, Martha Lee and Mossie. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 86 on July 20th, 1945. He was buried in Buffington Cemetery, Castleberry, Conecuh County, Alabama.1 1 -
