Mary Singleton Elmore 
Mary Singleton was born on December 4th, 1831 in SC.1 Mary Singleton's father was Franklin Harper Elmore and her mother was Harriet Chesnut Taylor. Her paternal grandparents were John Archer Elmore and Mary Ann Sarah Saxon; her maternal grandparents were John Taylor and Sarah Cantey Chesnut. She had three brothers and eight sisters, named John Taylor, Franklin Harper, Jr., Albert Rhett, Sally Cantey, Harriet Chestnut, Ellen Sophia, Caroline Cornelia, Harriet Chestnut, Grace Brown, Mary Susan and Rosa Ann. She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 9 in December 1840 in SC.1 -
