Harriet Chestnut Elmore 
Harriet Chestnut was born on August 8th, 1830 in Rice Springs, SC.1 Harriet Chestnut's father was Franklin Harper Elmore and her mother was Harriet Chesnut Taylor. Her paternal grandparents were John Archer Elmore and Mary Ann Sarah Saxon; her maternal grandparents were John Taylor and Sarah Cantey Chesnut. She had three brothers and eight sisters, named John Taylor, Franklin Harper, Jr., Albert Rhett, Sally Cantey, Mary Singleton, Ellen Sophia, Caroline Cornelia, Harriet Chestnut, Grace Brown, Mary Susan and Rosa Ann. She was the third oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 9 on August 22nd, 1839 in Monkey Springs, SC.1 -
