Thomas Archer II was born about 1671 in St Peter Parish, New Kent, VA.1 Thomas Archer II's father was Thomas I Elmore and his mother was Rebecca Austin. His maternal grandfather was James Austin. Text: The early Elmores were Quakers, whose births,baptisms, marriages,
and deaths were registered in the annals of the Society of Friends. Those
from whom we are descended were living in Prince Edward County, Virginia,
just prior to the Revolution.
Thomas may have died as early as December 9, 1725 in New Kent Co.,
Virginia.1704 Virginia Quit Rent Rolls - Quit Rents were annual fees
paidto the king in the right to live on and farm property. Theserolls are
