Martha Anne Douglas

Martha Anne was born on February 1st, 1832 in Cumberland County, North Carolina.¹   Martha Anne's father was Silas Douglas and her mother was Mary Harrington.  Her paternal grandparents were Abel Douglas and Martha ??; her maternal grandparents were Sion Harrington and Ann Dalrymple. She had nine brothers and two sisters, named Abel, John H., James, Silas William, Nathan, Archibald McLendon, Rabon, Sion Brock, Charles Bryant, Mary Elizabeth and Sarah M..  She was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.  She died after 1918 in Alabama.¹ 

‌Martha Anne and John W. Rollins were married in a religious ceremony on December 19th, 1848.²   They had four sons named Silas Atlas, Frederick A., John Carson and Charles Avent.

‌Martha Anne and Richard E. were married in a religious ceremony on December 16th, 1858.²   They had three sons and two daughters, named Solomon Joseph, Richard E., Jr., Ney Pickett, Ada Leonora and Celeste.
