Nathan Douglas

Nathan was born on November 28th, 1829.¹   Nathan's father was Silas Douglas and his mother was Mary Harrington.  His paternal grandparents were Abel Douglas and Martha ??; his maternal grandparents were Sion Harrington and Ann Dalrymple. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Abel, John H., James, Silas William, Archibald McLendon, Rabon, Sion Brock, Charles Bryant, Martha Anne, Mary Elizabeth and Sarah M..  He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children.

‌Nathan and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on July 1st, 1850.²   They had two sons and a daughter, named Silas William, Christopher and Mary E..
