Abel Douglas

Abel was born on March 19th, 1820.¹   Abel's father was Silas Douglas and his mother was Mary Harrington.  His paternal grandparents were Abel Douglas and Martha ??; his maternal grandparents were Sion Harrington and Ann Dalrymple. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named John H., James, Silas William, Nathan, Archibald McLendon, Rabon, Sion Brock, Charles Bryant, Martha Anne, Mary Elizabeth and Sarah M..  He was the oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 1 on March 3rd, 1822.¹
