Lonnie Howard was born on January 24th, 1889 in Downsville, Union Parish, LA.1 Lonnie Howard's father was John William Bridges and his mother was Martha Ada Wilson. His paternal grandparents were William Bridges and Delila Jane Jacks; his maternal grandparents were James Wilson and Martha R. Davis. He had two brothers named Ocie Lafayette and William Archie. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had four half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Thomas Alvin, John William, Jr., Binford, Moody, Myrtle, Trudy S., Marzie Cordie, R. V., Foye, Neola Gray and Janie Ophilia. He died at the age of 84 on October 15th, 1973 in LA.1 -
