Sarah Vance

Sarah was born in 1811.¹   Sarah's father was Abner , Sr. Vance and her mother was Susanna Howard.  Her paternal grandparents were Ephraim (Vause) Vance and Theodosia Hewlings; her maternal grandparents were Abraham Howard and Jane Allen. She had six brothers and seven sisters, named John, William, Richard, James H., Abner , Jr., Elijah, Tabitha (Tabby), Alena (Adina), Nancy, Millie Mary, Acenthia, Minerva and Elizabeth.  She died at the age of 56 on July 19th, 1867 in Logan,WVA.¹
