Sarah Deckard 
Sarah was born on July 17th, 1888 in Chapel Hill, Monroe Co., Indiana. Sarah's father was George Washington Deckard and her mother was Martha Mize. Her paternal grandparents were John Wesley Deckard and Malissa Eads. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Clarence Jackie, Lawrence Brigham, Floyd Washington Jake, Leonard Buck, General Sanford, Hobert "Hobie", Ollie, Rosetta and Eva Jane. She was the second oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 80 on October 5th, 1968 in Monroe Co., Indiana. She was buried in Clear Creek Cemetery, Monroe Co., Indiana.General Notes

Sarah Eads 81 a resident of R. 8 Bloomington, died at 1:10 P.M. Saturday
at the Bloomington Hospital.
She was born July 17, 1887 in Lawrence Co. The daughter of George and
Martha Mize Deckard. Her marriage was to Wiley Eads who survives.
Surviving with the husband are two daughters Mr. Dorval Owings,
Indianapolis and Mrs. Charles Deckard R.8. One son Stolar Eads R. 8. One
Sister Mrs. Evie Hollars. Five brothers, Jake and Jackie Deckard R.4
Bedford, Brigham, Sinford and Hobart R. 1 Heltonville. Nine grandchild
and several great grandchildren.
