His paternal grandparents were John Connor and Mary Sincleer; his maternal grandparents were Simon Pope and Rebecca Prince. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Louis J., Samuel, Tarrence Alonzo Francis, James, Charles Edgar, Florey A., Catherine Jane, Mary Jeanette 'Nettie', Ida Ellen and Melvina. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He had a half-sister named Sarah A.( Nuckles). He died at the age of 71 on January 28th, 1934 in Dellsville, Monroe co., Indiana.-
