Catherine Jane was born on October 11th, 1867 in Coles County, Coles, Illinois. Catherine Jane's father was Alexander Conner and her mother was Eliza Jane Pope. Her paternal grandparents were John Connor and Mary Sincleer; her maternal grandparents were Simon Pope and Rebecca Prince. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Louis J., Samuel, Tarrence Alonzo Francis, William Alexander, James, Charles Edgar, Florey A., Mary Jeanette 'Nettie', Ida Ellen and Melvina. She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. She had a half-sister named Sarah A.( Nuckles). She died at the age of 80 on May 3rd, 1948 in Monroe Co., Indiana.-
