Simon Pope

Simon was born in 1807 in Green, Tennessee.  Simon's father was Williamson Pope and his mother was Maryan Margaret Maples.  His paternal grandfather was ? Pope. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Williamson, John, Wiley, Elizabeth and Susanna.

‌Simon and Rebecca were married in a religious ceremony on September 8th, 1827 in Green, Tennessee.  They had a son and four daughters, named William R., Elizabeth, Eliza Jane, Sara Jane and Tabitha Ann.
