Iona Conner 
Iona was born on July 2nd, 1909 in Monroe Co., Indiana. Iona's father was William Alexander Conner and her mother was Martha C. Eliza Alice Ray. Her paternal grandparents were Alexander Conner and Eliza Jane Pope; her maternal grandparents were Aaron Ray and Amanda C. Phillips. She was an only child. She died at the age of 83 on April 10th, 1993 in Bloomington Convalescent Center, Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana. She was buried in Clover Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, Monroe Co., Indiana.General Notes

Iona Sherlock Eads, 83, of Bloomington, died Saturday at the
Bloomington Convalescent Center.
Born July 2, 1909, in Monroe County, she was the daughter of William
A. and Eliza A. (Wray) Conner. She was a retired assembler at RCA and a
member of the Handy Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include her husband, Clifford Eads, five daughters, Ruth
Heltonburg of Bloomfield, Louise Heaton, Lucetta Frye and Lois Hickman,
all of Bloomington, and Phyllis Hunter of Bedford; two sons, David
Sherlock of Bloomington and Edward Sherlock of Indianapolis; one stepson,
Kenneth Eads of Bloomington; four stepdaughters, Naomi Hedrick, Janice
Rogers and Verna Deckard, all of Bloomington, and Velma Robertson of
Brownsburg; 22 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, several
great-great-grandchildren and several stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Avy Sherlock, in
1986; nine brothers and two sisters.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Allen Funeral Home with the
Rev. Flint Underwood officiating. Burial will be at Clover Hill Cemetery
in Harrodsburg.
Friends may call 2 - 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
