John Nichols

John was born on April 16th, 1666 in Newport,,RI.  John's father was Thomas Nichols and his mother was Hannah Griffin.  His paternal grandparents were Edmond Nichols and Jane Philip; his maternal grandfather was Robert Griffin. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Robert, Benjamin, Jonathan, Joseph, Susannah, Hannah and Elizabeth.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 59 on November 18th, 1725.
