Joseph Nichols

Joseph was born on April 18th, 1684 in Newport,,RI.  Joseph's father was Thomas Nichols and his mother was Hannah Griffin.  His paternal grandparents were Edmond Nichols and Jane Philip; his maternal grandfather was Robert Griffin. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Robert, Benjamin, Jonathan, Susannah, Hannah and Elizabeth.  He was the second youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 41 on May 15th, 1725.
