Benjamin Nichols

Benjamin was born on January 28th, 1676 in Newport,Newport Co.,RI.  Benjamin's father was Thomas Nichols and his mother was Hannah Griffin.  His paternal grandparents were Edmond Nichols and Jane Philip; his maternal grandfather was Robert Griffin. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Robert, Jonathan, Joseph, Susannah, Hannah and Elizabeth.  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 60 in 1736.
