Robert Nichols

Robert was born on November 22nd, 1671 in Newport,Newport Co.,RI.  Robert's father was Thomas Nichols and his mother was Hannah Griffin.  His paternal grandparents were Edmond Nichols and Jane Philip; his maternal grandfather was Robert Griffin. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Benjamin, Jonathan, Joseph, Susannah, Hannah and Elizabeth.  He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
