Jonathan Nichols

Jonathan was born on June 10th, 1681 in Newport,Newport Co.,RI.  Jonathan's father was Thomas Nichols and his mother was Hannah Griffin.  His paternal grandparents were Edmond Nichols and Jane Philip; his maternal grandfather was Robert Griffin. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Robert, Benjamin, Joseph, Susannah, Hannah and Elizabeth.  He was the third youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 46 on August 2nd, 1727.
