John Cox 
John was born in 1742 in Virginia. John's father was Issac Cox and his mother was Susannah Tomlinson. His maternal grandparents were James Tomlinson and Harriett Trowbridge. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named James, Issac, David, George, Joseph, Jonathan, Benjamin, Nancy, Ann and Polly. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died in Fayette Co.,KY.-
