Reese V. Self

Reese V. was born about 1820 in Gap Creek, Greene, Tennessee.  Reese V.'s father was Jesse Self and his mother was Agnes Dobson.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Self and Elizabeth; his maternal grandfather was John Dobson. He had five brothers and a sister, named Elijah R., Robert D., Josiah, Lewis, Joseph and Lucinda.  He was the youngest of the seven children.
