Lewis Self

Lewis was born on June 6th, 1817 in Gap Creek, Greene, Tennessee.  Lewis' father was Jesse Self and his mother was Agnes Dobson.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Self and Elizabeth; his maternal grandfather was John Dobson. He had five brothers and a sister, named Elijah R., Robert D., Josiah, Joseph, Reese V. and Lucinda.  He was the third youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 90 on September 11th, 1907.
