Sarah Kite 
Sarah was born in 1848 in Virginia. Sarah's father was David Kite and her mother was Marie Kauffman. Her paternal grandparents were Martin Kite and Catharine Kiser. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Alfred Melton, Francis David, John W., Alexander, Thomas Oscar, Harvey, Eliza Jane, Virginia Ann and Nancy. She was the second youngest of the ten children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Charles and Mary.-
