Eliza Jane Kite 
Eliza Jane was born before 1841 in Virginia. Eliza Jane's father was David Kite and her mother was Marie Kauffman. Her paternal grandparents were Martin Kite and Catharine Kiser. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Alfred Melton, Francis David, John W., Alexander, Thomas Oscar, Harvey, Virginia Ann, Nancy and Sarah. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Charles and Mary.-
