Mary Ellen Spinney

Mary was born on May 13th, 1863 in St. George, New Brunswick. Mary's father was Joseph L. Spinney and her mother was Ann Jane Steen. Her paternal grandparents were James S. Spinney and Martha (Anne) Lowe; her maternal grandparents are James Steen and Ruth Crozier. She had nine brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John, Robert, Gideon, George, Joseph, James, Fred, Melvin, Chester, Jane, Annie, Maggie and Spinney. She was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 77 in 1940.
