John Crozier Spinney

John was born on April 16th, 1854 in St. George, New Brunswick. John's father was Joseph L. Spinney and his mother was Ann Jane Steen. His paternal grandparents were James S. Spinney and Martha (Anne) Lowe; his maternal grandparents are James Steen and Ruth Crozier. He had eight brothers and four sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Robert, Gideon, George, Joseph, James, Fred, Melvin, Chester, Jane, Mary, Annie, Maggie and Spinney. He was the second oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 57 on December 23rd, 1911.
