Sumner Adams Dow

Sumner was born on May 6th, 1834 in New Hampton, Belknap County, New Hampshire. Sumner's father was Levi Dow and his mother was Hannah Goss Drake. His paternal grandparents were Levi Dow and Abigail Godfrey; his maternal grandparents are Deacon Nathaniel Drake and Deborah. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Hosea, Olwyn, Nathaniel, Mary, Tirzah and Leonora. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 69 on August 9th, 1903 in Concord, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.

General Notes
- Sumner moved in 1858 to Canterbury, New Hampshire, and from there to Northfield, New Hampshire, where he had a meat business. In 1885 he moved to Concord, New Hampshire.
